Glory Annen, whose real name is Glory Anne Clibbery, was born in Kenora, Ontario on September 5th, 1952 and was given the name
"Glory" by the nun who delivered her after exclaiming, ‘
Glory be, what a pretty girl.’ She attended the Victoria School of Performing Arts in Edmonton, Alberta (Leslie Nielsen, Robert Goulet and Tommy Chong also went there) before moving to England at the age of 17.
She started her film career in 1977 with a bit part in the movie
Cruel Passion, then worked with cult director Norman J. Warren in the films
Prey (1978) and
Spaced Out (1981) but she is known mainly for her role in the
booby-filled Australian production
Felicity (1979)
Recently she was interviewed for the documentary
Not Quite Hollywood about her role in Australian exploitation cinema.
