Sssssss: Don't Say It, Hiss It!

Does anybody remember this movie?  I think Sssssss is a better eco-horror than Grizzly but I'm sure many people will disagree.  I'm not saying Sssssss is a great movie.  I'm just saying I found it more entertaining than Grizzly.  However, the trailer makes it look way more entertaining than it is.  Be warned, this movie really drags on in sections.

The basic premise is this:  An eccentric herpetologist with good intentions lives in the country with his daughter and works on a secret, and perhaps malevolent, research project while performing snake shows on the weekends to make ends meet.  His last assistant mysteriously disappeared so he recruits a new one from the local university to feed and help take care of his snakes.  The assistant and professor's daughter fall in love and everything seems to be going swimmingly, but after a series of injections from the good snake doctor to "protect against snake venom," the assistant begins to change into something more reptilian.  Shenanigans ensue.
